Executive Board Positions: 7 Positions

President:
Represents the club externally.
Presides over the monthly MeetingsDelegates the various tasks and coordinating the various committees.
Takes care of various committee tasks in the absence of the responsible person.
Follows up on various club related issues.
Helps the board members in achieving the tasks at hand.
Vice President in charge of PR:

Active input in various issues and tasks.
Takes over the presidents' responsibilities in his absence.
Coordinates all issues related to Public Relations and Marketing of LTB.

Vice President in charge of Membership:

Active input in various issues and tasks.
Takes over the presidents' responsibilities in his and the VP PR’s absence.
Works closely together with the Treasurer.
Is actively involved in recruiting new members.
Keeps all members information up to date
Coordinates all issues and tasks in regards to membership applications and members' needs.
Sends out reminders to Members in regards to membership fee payments.

Treasurer:

Takes care of all financial issues of the Club.
Records all Income and expenditures of the club in a organized manner.
Keeps proper records of all income and expenditures
Is responsible that the LTB Accounts are in order and in good standings
Presents monthly financial statement at the Membership meeting.
Works closely with the Membership Coordinator.
Supports Account Audits.

Secretary:

Responsible for taking the minutes of our various meetings.
Keeps information flowing between all members.
Works closely together with the event coordinator.

Webmaster:

Responsible for up-dating the LTB Web page on a monthly basis. (Posting minutes and up-dates Members information etc).
Coordinates changes with the Web Designer and Web Company.
Takes care of all web-site related issues.

Social Event Coordinator:

Prepares a Yearly Social Events Calendar by soliciting Ideas from the Board and Membership.
Takes care of the planned events in close coordination with all Board Members.
Sends out information before every event to all Members.
Presents the information at the monthly meetings.
Communicates with the host of each event.
Makes sure that all events are in line with the Board's guidelines and adheres to the given budget.


Support Directors: 5 Positions

Support Director:

Support the Executive Directors on their various tasks. -

Honorary Directors: no of positions as decided by the board

Honorary Board Position for longstanding distinguished LTB Members who have supported and promoted LTB in an exemplary way. No Membership Fee payment required 

Honorary LTB Ambassador and Advisor: (Non Voting Position)

Assists in promoting LTB to various private and government Associations and Identities
Liaisons Person between LTB and Local / State Government if needed.

Honorary Board Member - (Non Voting Position)
Honorary Board Position for longstanding distinguished LTB Members who have supported and promoted LTB in an exemplary way.

 
     
 
 
 
The LTB Board shall consist of 12 Board Positions.
  • 7 Executive Board Positions: President, Vice Presidents PR, Vice President Membership, Treasure, Secreatry, Website Cordinator, Social Events Cordinator
  • 5 Support Directors
  • Honorary Board Positions with no Voting rights - No. of positions determent by Board

    Board Position explanations are available upon request

    All Officers of the association shall serve gratis, with no income derived directly or indirectly. Their term of office shall be of one-year [from March to February], and they may be re-elected unlimited times.

    Elections will be held each and every March. A Member In Good Standing will fill each position by a majority of the votes from Members In Good Standing attending the Meeting for the Election of Officers.

    Special Election may be called by the Board to replace a vacated position during the year

    A Member In Good Standing is a Member with a "paid-up" current Membership as attested by the Membership Coordinator and the Treasurer.
 
 
 
 
 
Membership fees are as follows.
  • Chef's Members: Won 70,000 per annum
    Chefs or Chef / Owner currently employed in the Hospitality Industry (Hotels, Restaurants, Catering Firms and Culinary Institutes)

  • Affiliated Members: Won 80,000 per annum
    Individuals Members of Trade Organizations or other Hospitality related Organizations

  • Corporate Members: Won 200,000 per annum
    Suppliers and Distibutors of Food, Beverage, Eqipment or other Hospitality related Goods

    Fees are due on March 1st of each year
    If Membership Fee renewal is not paid by April 30th Member will be removed from website listing and mailing lists and subsequently will be charged non member meeting fees until such times as Fee is paid

    Members joining after November 1st their membership fee will cover the following year as well.

    If Corportae Members paid their dues on or before the March then their Company Logo will be displayed on the LTB Website

    Membership fees will be reviewed each year before March General Election meeting and my be changed at the discretion of the BoardEach member is allowed to bring one guest to a meeting or social function at a members price.

 
     
 
 
 
LTB Account Audit
Any member in good standing can request an Audit before the March General Election meeting.

The President shall then appoint an Audit Committee of Les Toques Blanches, S. Korea, which has to consist of:
  • 2 members from the General Membership
  • 2 members from The Executive Committee
  • The Treasurer

    The Audit Report will be completed and sent to The Executive Committee no later than the 15th day of February and presented by the Treasurer to the membership in the next Meeting.

 
     
 
 
 

These By-Laws of Les Toques Blanches Korea, can be changed or amended by a vote of the board members at the monthly board meeting meeting, by a majority vote of the board members attending the meeting.
